We put our experience and pride of craftsmanship into every product we produce. Whether we’re mass producing three dozen nurse’s stations of duplicate specifications for a new hospital or a hundred desk and credenza combos for a new office building or hand-staining a piece of sculpted black walnut for your master bedroom suite, commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is always our number one priority.
We manufacture frameless cabinets. This style has no face frame; the doors cover the cabinet case and all hinges are concealed. Although the frameless approach is the most modern and up-to-date cabinet manufacturing technique, the overall look of the cabinets can be either contemporary, with simple clean lines, or more traditional and formal, with applied doors and moldings. Further, all of our cabinets can be finished in any number of styles, from simple staining or painting, to complex faux paint finishes. All finishing is custom to your specifications and completed by hand on-site in our facility. Whatever your style, we can create the cabinet to satisfy!
Our standard residential cabinet boxes utilize ¾” prefinished birch plywood. All open or glass door cabinets will have interiors to match the exterior finish of the cabinets. The exterior of the cabinets can be manufactured in any wood species and the finish selections are unlimited. All finishes are applied on site.
Our standard commercial cabinet boxes utilize ¾” white melamine. The exterior of the cabinets can be manufactured using various laminates to coordinate with your commercial space design. Some commercial clients prefer residential standards for their projects which we can easily accommodate.
Our drawer boxes are made from ½” prefinished plywood. The bottoms are ¼” prefinished plywood. The box is glued and nailed using a butt-joint method for maximum strength and durability. Full-extension side-mount drawer glides are the standard for our drawer boxes and roll-outs. All drawer boxes can be upgraded to dovetail construction and all drawer glides can be upgraded to soft-close.
Additionally, we utilize an integrated toe-kick on our base cabinets, ensuring the strongest cabinet on the market. This allows the weight of the countertop to be placed directly onto the floor, rather than a bottom shelf.
We use Blum hinges as a standard in all of our cabinets. Our doors can easily be removed from the cabinet with a push of a button. No tools needed; adjustments are made to the doors by a simple turn of a screw.
We manufacture laminate and wood countertops to your specifications in our facility. While we don’t fabricate stone countertops, we are happy to work with your stone contractor to facilitate measurement and coordinate installation.
As an alternative to true custom cabinetry, Knot Yet is also a dealer of Carolina Heartwood Cabinetry. These are very well-built cabinets offered at a competitive price. The range of options for woods and finishes are more limited and lead-times can often be longer; however, it is an option we offer our customers and something to consider in certain situations.
